So weird...
Second time went to Russia Class but still occurred some incidents...
After I finished my dinner with my friend at Sungai Dua, I need to go to Russia class'
Suddenly raining heavily...
However, I still non-stop and keep going back to USM with my little umbrella
On the way, I played with my friend, June
We just carzy said want to take away the umbrella and get wet in the rain...LOL
But we didnt do it because I still need to go to class and worry later both of us get sick...
I didnt want to miss the class yesterday
Because the topic of the calss is "Traditional Handmade Toy"
My most favorite part...=)
This is called Pokosnitsa (Mowing Girl). During haymaking time once a year ( June- July), adult will go out working whole day and need to left their children at home.
To avoid their children feel bored at home, they will make the dolls to let their children play around.
Do you wonder why the dolls have no eyes and mouth on the face
because they believe that if we draw the eyes, nose and mouth on the face, the spirit of evil will get inside the dolls.
Left hand side one is putting seeds inside the body and right hand side can put some herbs to smell and relax
This is a reference of handmade toy book. There are variety type of dolls we can make and each type got own explanation and stories...
In my childhood, I fall in love with handmade crafts
But I dont have money to but the material to practice and make it.
So great that this is my first time made doll...
Previously, I made duffel bag (束口袋）, key chain with name, gift box and so on
I can said that I really enjoy my Uni Life..=)
